Owner & Primary Photographer

Erin Hession-Wooton and her husband John have become one of the most sought after husband/wife photography teams in the Midwest. Based in Indianapolis, Erin has become a leader in the photographic industry and is known for her extraordinary photographic ability with attention to service & detail. Erin graduated from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College and has been photographing weddings, portraits and special events as a professional photographer since 1994. She trained under nationally-known celebrity wedding and event photographer, Gary Fong, who also photographed their wedding in 2003. Her husband John manages her websites (and runs his own web design business http://www.inspiremediablog.com) and he personally assists Erin & her staff on all photo shoots.

The primary focus of Erin's business is weddings, so she is currently writing articles and books for brides and photographers. Erin's work has been featured in Studio Photography & Design, one of the most well-known and respected magazines for photographers nationwide. She is a proud member of Wedding & Portrait Photographers International and was recently nominated as one of Indy’s Best Wedding Photographers on WRTV’s A-List of Best Local Businesses.

Diana
Diana's photojournalism degree from Ball State University has given her the necessary tools to see creatively and fit right in with our shooting style and philosophy! She personally assists the bride, fluffs the dress and train into position during altar formals, shoots candids and photojournalistic shots on the side and brings about a fresh perspective to the day. Her outgoing personality really helps us stay on schedule and she works well with everyone in the wedding party and during portrait sessions.

Melissa

Melissa graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2001 and moved back to Indianapolis in 2004 where she and her husband are currently raising their two children. Her fascination with photography began at a young age and after taking some photography classes in 2006 and seeing her work, we felt she was a perfect fit to become another side-shooter for the Erin Hession Photography team. Like Diana, Melissa is great with children and wedding parties of all sizes and has the desire to learn and shoot creatively at every event. She assists the bride and groom as needed, helps direct people to get formals done quickly and connects well with flower girls and ring bearers of all ages.
